We pay the hospital account in full, and any specialists or healthcare providers who treat you in hospital at 100% of the Momentum Medical Scheme Rate.
Some service providers charge fees more than the Momentum Medical Scheme Rate. In this case, you will need to pay the difference between the Momentum Medical Scheme Rate and the fees charged.
Medicine will be covered during your hospital stay, provided that it is part of your hospital treatment. On discharge, 7 days' supply of prescribed medicine will be covered. This medication must be dispensed to you before you are discharged from hospital and excludes vitamins and supplements.
